Why BrainBag?
BrainBag is not just a protective device for your head, it is also a powerful new data collection tool that will revolutionize the medical community in a completely new and innovative way. Each BrainBag will be equipped with a 3-axis accelerometer and, through a paired app, each user will create a unique profile to store their head impact data. With potentially millions of users, BrainBag will eventually have the data to shed light on currently unanswered questions about head injuries.
Researchers, ER physicians, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation personnel have never had access to a database of the scope and scale that BrainBag will create. The data obtained by BrainBag will be able to fuel nea research, new treatment techniques, and empower the medical community to make new breakthroughs like never before.
The BrainBag user agreement will provide the option for BrainBag users to donate their brain to science, along with their brain impact history (from the BrainBag database) providing the world’s first linkage of brain impact data with posthumous brain analysis.
